Q: What is a LiteCoin?
A: Litecoin (LTC) is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and open source software project released under the MIT/X11 license. Inspired by and technically nearly identical to Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin creation and transfer is based on an open source protocol and is not managed by any central authority. Litecoin is intended by its developers to improve upon Bitcoin, offering several key differences. As of November 2013, Litecoin had received extended coverage by mainstream media with agencies such as the Wall Street Journal, CNBC and The New York Times citing it as an alternative (or possibly even successor) to Bitcoin.
After Bitcoin and Ripple, Litecoin is the third-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. A peer-to-peer network similar to Bitcoin's handles Litecoin's transactions, balances and issuance through scrypt, the proof-of-work scheme (Litecoins are issued when a small enough hash value is found, at which point a block is created, the process of finding these hashes and creating blocks is called mining). The issuing rate forms a geometric series, and the rate halves every 840,000 blocks, roughly every four years, reaching a final total of 84 million LTC.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: You can withdraw to your FaucetHub account as soon as you have at least 10,000 Litoshi.
Withdrawals are usually processed within 24 hours (often within minutes). If network congestion or Litecoin fees are high we delay direct Litecoin withdrawals and run them once a week in batches every Sunday night.

Q: How long does it take to get my payment?
A: Withdrawals to your FaucetHub wallet are processed within 24 - 48 hours and once sent they arrive almost instantly.
Q: Can you reverse a payments that have already been sent?
A: Litecoin payments are irreversible. Once we send a payment to the Litecoin address you supplied, there is no way to recall it. You are responsible for making sure the Litecoin address you supply is one you control. You can check your Litecoin address on your Profile page.
Q: My Payment Is Under Review, Delayed or Held
My Payment Is "Under Review"
Occasionally our system will automatically flag payments for manual review. If you have been an honest user and have not been abusing the PlayDoge website, you have nothing to worry about and your payment will be reviewed and released, usually within 24 hours. Sometimes this process can take longer if we are experiencing a high payment volume.
My Payment Is Delayed
If you have requested a withdrawal and have not received it after 24 hours, please be patient. Occasionally our payment systems require maintenance, updates or simply need funds to be added (which can take time). We do our best to pay promptly but appreciate your patience when we have slight delays.
If you requested a direct Litecoin withdrawal and it is delayed, please wait until Monday of the following week to submit a support ticket. Due to high fees we usually batch direct Litecoin withdrawals every Sunday night.
My Payment Has Been "Held"
If your payment status is "Held" this means we have detected unusual activity on your account and we are holding your payment until we can do an in depth manual review. Held payments are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and opening a support ticket will not speed up the process (unless you are being honest and explaining exactly why there is unusual activity). If you have been an honest user you have nothing to worry about it.
Do not try to make up excuses for the unusual activity on your account - we have heard them all and will see right through them. The best thing you can do is be honest with us. We are people too and we will understand.
Q: Why can't I make a faucet claim?
You might be having problems making a faucet claim on Claim Litecoin for one of the following reasons...
(a) Advert Blocking
If we detect that you have blocked adverts or they aren't showing up in your web browser then we will prevent you from making a faucet claim. If any of the adverts are not showing then there must be something blocking them on your browser/device. This may be an ad-blocking browser plug-in or extension - if so, please disable your ad-blocking browser plugin/software or add this page to the exception list.
(b) Browser/Device incompatability
This faucet web site is designed to work on the broadest range of web browsers and devices possible. However it may be that your browser/device is not supported and you receive an error message when you try to claim. If so, please try a different browser or device to check that this is the problem before contacting us about it.
